Curated by Singapore’s crossover art and designer-toy collective ActionCity, and officially licensed by Disney, this collaboration brings one of the world’s most iconic characters into the universe of Tikka’s EastCloud.
Hong Kong artist Tik Ka, widely known for his East-meets-West works such as Hambuddha and Santa Guan, has in recent years shifted his creative focus toward the visual language of clouds — symbols he associates with transformation and impermanence.
Through this evolving “cloud universe,” Tik Ka applies his signature EastCloud vocabulary to a classic character, reimagining Mickey Mouse formed entirely from auspicious clouds. EastCloud Mickey is constructed wholly from cloud structures, expressing the idea of “unlimited possibilities within an iconic form.” The piece is released as a collectible.
